Who we are
Bright & Brine Fine Art Gallery is a contemporary, community-first gallery located in the heart of Greater Moncton. Founded in 2024, the gallery showcases bold, thoughtful work by emerging and established artists from New Brunswick and beyond, with a focus on artist equity, public engagement, and regional cultural development.
Exhibiting one or two artists at a time, Bright & Brine also carries a year-round collection of Cape Dorset Inuit sculpture from the private collection of John Lafford. The gallery hosts artist talks, literary readings, and student tours, and plays a lead role in coordinating Greater Moncton’s Accent public art program. Bright & Brine is owned and curated by Kathryn Basham, a Kentucky native who has made New Brunswick her home for the past 14 years.
